• Ask A Medical Director: WEMSA 2027 Friday Keynote Panel

Submit an anonymous question for the medical director panel to debate during the Friday keynote.
  • Ever wondered why one medical director allows something that another doesn't?
    Here's your chance to ask.

The 2027 WEMSA Conference & Expo will close on Friday, February 5th with a physician panel unlike a typical Q&A. Wisconsin EMS medical directors will take the stage for a lively, honest debate about the places where they differ on protocols, allowed scope of practice, and policy. Think of things like why one district allows RSI under flex staffing while another doesn't, whether TXA belongs on every rig, or whether more services should be carrying blood. The goal is to let you see that real-world variation play out live, and to hear the reasoning behind it directly from the people who make these calls.

We want the questions to come from the people actually working in the field, which means you. Whether you're an EMR, a paramedic, a chief, a dispatcher, or a student, if there's something you've always wanted to ask your medical director, or something you'd love to hear several of them argue about, submit it below.

How your question will be used: the WEMSA Education Committee will review every submission, group the most common themes, and share those themes with our panelists ahead of time so they can prepare. Some of the questions will be held back as surprises, so the panelists have to think on their feet and the discussion stays genuine.
